About the Senior Suites
Built in 2004, the Senior Suites, better known as “The Suites,” is a co-ed building of only seniors. The building is comprised of four floors of apartments, totaling forty-seven apartments, with a capacity of 204 seniors. The Suites are located between the Townhouses and Graduate Village on the northeastern end of campus. Conveniently located next to the Allied Health building, it is in an ideal location for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and physician assistant majors.
Each apartment holds four or six people and has one or two bathrooms. Six-person apartments have two bathrooms. Every student living in these apartments has a kitchen, a dining area, and a living room, offering independent living while still enjoying the benefits of campus life. All apartments have garbage disposals and air conditioning for student convenience. Also located on each floor are smaller lounges for students to socialize. Students are able to relax and enjoy special events, such as Senior Week, in this area.
There are many exciting events which take place at the Senior Suites, including:
- Fall Fest – This event is sponsored by the Living Center, Townhouses, and Senior Suites to bring students to the Senior Village in celebration of the fall season. The event serves a variety of food, music, and other activities.
- Special Events – Alumni events, wine tastings, and Senior Week are all hosted at the Senior Suites.
