Q: Who uses the Academic Success Center?
A: The Academic Success Center is for Springfield College students on the main campus who want to improve their academic skills and performance.

Q: Where is the Academic Success Center located?
A: The Academic Success Center is located in Hickory Hall, Room 109, 413-748-3747.
Q: What kind of academic support is available?
A: The Academic Success Center provides a variety of academic support services that are described here: Services of the Academic Success Center.
Q: What is Academic Coaching?
A: Students may benefit from working one-on-one with an Academic Coach. Academic Coaches are available to help students address problems that impede academic success such as procrastination, time management, study skills and related issues.
Q: How do I request a tutor?
A: Tutoring services are also available for most subject areas. We strongly advise students to get their tutor requests in as early as possible. Just fill out a Tutor Request form here: Request a Tutor.
Q: How much do these services cost?
A: All academic support services are free.
Q: I've been placed on academic probation/warning what do I need to do?
A: All students that have been placed on probation or warning are required to participate in the Academic Progress Program. The primary goal of these meetings is to provide assistance and support for the student so they can improve their academic skills and performance.
