Many people know Springfield College as the Birthplace of Basketball. (The game was invented in 1891 by Dr. James Naismith, a member of the faculty.) A few years later, another Springfield College alumnus, William Morgan, Class of 1894, invented the game of volleyball.

And that was just the beginning. Since then, Springfield College people have developed a technique to detect the e. coli bacterium, launched the Olympic movement in Eastern Europe, and even improved the health of millions of people in China.

"How can a small college make such an enormous difference?"

The same way you can. This video will tell you more about Springfield College. If it attracts your interest, we hope you'll contact us.
