Interlibrary Loan Services will soon be Available Digitally

This summer, we are introducing a new digital service for students who request articles that are not available in Babson Library. Interlibrary loan (ILL) services will now be available in a full-text, digital format. Throughout the summer we'll expand this service, and by fall, all interlibrary loan article requests will be delivered digitally.

Here's how it works:

When the digital ILL you request arrives it will be posted on a computer server and you'll receive an e-mail on your Springfield College e-mail account which will include a link to the article.

• Click on the link
• Enter the PIN that is included in the e-mail
• View or print your article

You'll have two weeks, or five views from the day you receive the e-mail before the article is taken down.

We are very excited that this new service will speed up the ILL process. By the start of the fall semester, you will no longer receive paper articles through traditional postal mail. The process of requesting your ILL materials remains the same. If you have questions please contact the Babson Library Information Desk.
