Faculty - Library Instruction
One of our most important jobs is to educate students in how to find and use information properly. We cover topics such as:
- determining what kind of information is needed
- selecting the appropriate resources to use
- constructing research strategies
- evaluating information
... and many more. In addition, we frequently work with faculty to create workshops that focus on class-specific issues such as social activism and the web, health economics, and art in the classroom.
Please refer to the section below for instructions on how to schedule a library instruction session. If you have further questions, please contact Chris Bigelow at (413) 748 3848 or via e-mail cbigelow@spfldcol.edu.
