An expansion and complete renovation of the Schoo-Bemis Science Center (formerly Schoo Hall) was completed in the spring of 2007. The building includes 36,000 square feet and houses the biology/chemistry and physics/math/computer sciences departmental and faculty offices. The space provides an integrated, centralized location for science instruction that allows for interdisciplinary collaboration. About Springfield College
Springfield College is a great place to live, learn, work, play—a place where each student can discover his or her true self. At the foundation of the Springfield College educational experience is Humanics—the age-old Greek ideal of the balanced individual—which promotes the interconnection of a person’s emotional, intellectual, and physical lives. Educating students in spirit, mind, and body is not just our mission: it’s in everything we do. This includes our facilities, which provide a different type of foundation for our programs, one that affords our students with the best resources possible to help them achieve their goals. |
