YMCA
The YMCA and Springfield College share a unique history and heritage dating back to Springfield’s earliest days. Springfield College was founded in the late 1800s to educate YMCA professionals. Over the years, thousands of YMCA professionals have attended Springfield College and today, the partnership between the Y and Springfield College is stronger than ever.
A broad range of educational opportunities at the graduate and undergraduate levels is offered on the main campus of Springfield College. The college also provides educational opportunities for degree programs at a number of remote campuses around the country through the School of Human Services.
Springfield College offers academic programs to prepare students for a career in the YMCA. From camping, teen programs, childcare, fitness and aquatics, to youth work, community development, marketing, business, environmental education, arts and humanities, and many other areas, there are positions in the YMCA to make the most of your interests and abilities. Imagine doing something you love and getting paid for it! That’s what a career in the YMCA is all about. You will have the opportunity to go just about anywhere and do just about anything! What’s not to love about a Y career?
