Homecoming 2009!

125 Years of Pride - Reflecting back, looking forward

Dear Springfield College Family,

Homecoming is always a special time here at 263 Alden Street. It is truly a family reunion bringing folks from all over the world and representing all decades “home” to reunite with our current students and the rest of the campus community.

This is a very special year for Springfield College. In 2009 - 2010 we are celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of this great institution. By returning to Homecoming 2009, you will be part of this historic occasion. You will have an opportunity to see our 100th Home Show; the Canoe Parade, a tradition from the 1920s being brought back to life for this auspicious occasion; and much more.

This Web site presents a mini scrapbook of sorts, with past homecomings showcased with more recent events. We hope that it will strike a chord with you and entice you to come home, to be part of the festivities, to bring your families, and to reconnect with a school that has done so much for so many throughout the world.

Hope to see you in November.

Richard B. Flynn
President
