Stroke Survivors Support Group Free At SC
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., March 2, 2005 -- For survivors of stroke, The Springfield College Department of Occupational Therapy offers a free support group meeting Thursdays, 11 a.m. to noon, through May 5, 2005, in the Allied Health Sciences Center, Room 208, on the campus. The informal brown bag lunch sessions are facilitated by members of the Springfield College Occupational Therapy faculty. Stroke survivors discuss many aspects of adapting to the aftermath of stroke including: frustration of physical limits, different types of strokes, adaptive equipment, social adjustment, and more.
