Dr. M. Ben Hogan, Vice President for Student Affairs, Announces Resignation

Dr. M. Ben Hogan, vice president for student affairs, has announced his resignation for health reasons, effective immediately. Pres. Richard Flynn, in accepting Dr. Hogan’s resignation, said, “Dr. Hogan has made a professional decision that will allow him to concentrate on his health and well-being. I know the campus community joins me in thanking him for his many contributions over the past four-and-a-half years and in wishing him well.”

Pres. Flynn announced that John Wilcox, director of enrollment management, has agreed to serve as interim vice president for student affairs, while continuing with his current responsibilities. Pres. Flynn said, “John has been a trusted member of the College staff for 35 years while serving in a variety of administrative positions. He is a strong advocate for students and I am confident that the programs within student affairs will be well served during this interim period.”

The College plans to conduct a national search for a permanent replacement to Dr. Hogan.
