Child Development Center Open House At Springfield College
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., March 28, 2003 -- For parents interested in day care for toddlers, three year-olds, or pre-kindergarteners, The Springfield College Child Development Center will hold an open house on Sunday, April 6, from 1 to 3 p.m. The center is accepting applications for summer and fall sessions.Located on Springfield College’s East Campus, the center is arranged as a warm, caring environment where children choose from a variety of activities while developing their senses, competencies, and self-esteem. Outdoor play at the center’s Fort Imagination is designed to foster children’s motor development and trust-building in a safe area.
The professional childcare staff is assisted by Springfield College undergraduate students. Parents are kept abreast of children’s daily activities through video and audio recordings, children’s and teachers’ journals, and displays of children’s projects.
