Mimi Murray Springfield College Professor of Physical Education Mimi Murray is a past president of AAHPERD, ICHPERSD, and NAGWS, and has been named a pioneer in women's athletics by The Women's Sports Foundation. The annual Karpovich Lecture is Springfield College's premier scholarly lecture in physical education, exercise physiology, and other sport and exercise sciences. Both Murray and Karpovich earned their master's degrees at Springfield College, and Murray also earned her bachelor's degree at Springfield College.
