Adapted Physical Education
The Adapted Physical Education program prepares students to assist persons with special needs who wish to engage in physical activities, as well as to develop and manage prescriptive programs for patients with disabilities who require specialized activities. Students entering the Adapted Physical Education Program who have not earned an undergraduate degree in physical education, and who wish to attain teacher certification, must also satisfy the requirements for the physical education teacher licensure program.Adapted Physical Education Program Requirement Sheet(.doc)
Advanced-Level Coaching
The Advanced-Level Coaching program facilitates the development of competencies required for successful coaching at the interscholastic, intercollegiate, and professional levels. Springfield College has a reputation for producing outstanding coaches at all levels of sports: elite, professional, intercollegiate, and interscholastic. The advanced level coaching program is a natural extension of our strong physical education and sport science undergraduate programs. Athletic Administration
The Athletic Administration program prepares students for leadership roles in college, university, and school athletics programs.
