Director of Community Relations

Brendan Neal

Brendan Neal Brendan Neal is the Director of Community Relations at Springfield College, in Springfield, Massachusetts. In this capacity, Brendan serves as a representative of the College to government officials and community leaders. Among other activities, he cultivates relationships between the College and its local community in ways that enhance the institution’s reputation, researches and develops opportunities that generate support for the College’s long-range growth, and coordinates targeted community and government relations activities at the local, state, and national level.

Brendan, who graduated from Springfield College with a bachelor’s degree in political science, served as Associate Director of Family Giving for the College before being named Director of Community Relations. He has also worked with U.S. Sen. John Kerry’s office and campaign, and he served in 2002 as the Second Congressional District Coordinator for the Massachusetts Democratic Party.

Brendan currently volunteers his expertise to a number of organizations, including serving on the board of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, and the board of the United States Selective Service System, and SIDS Race for Life.
