Art Exhibition: The Alpha & the Omega
Paintings by Bill Blizard and Tim O’Donnell

Bill Blizard’s raw snapshots of the live stage performance of blues musicians are fleeting. Computer altered and enhanced, the images send viewers’ eyes straight into the heart of each piece, restraining complexity and revealing the spirit. “Our present-day world is overflowing with complexity; therefore, I see the blues as providing, as one of its most endearing elements, a simple honesty that comes vividly into an aesthetic occasion for which there is no equal.”
- Blizard

Weekdays, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
(Reception for artist and public: Sept. 4, 4 – 6 p.m.)

Tim O’Donnell describes his paintings as “Illusional pools of stirred-up perception melting and collecting in oil desaturated economic struggle, battling the existence and belligerence of human thought blocked . . . Painting is a result from frustration of verbal communication . . . [expressing] what cannot be said, but read as an image.”
