The post-baccalaureate elementary education concentration prepares students for the Initial License as an elementary education teacher, Grades 1-6. The program features a required, semester-long, supervised practicum of 300 clock hours in an elementary classroom and coursework designed to help educators address the complex social and emotional environments of their learners. A bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, sciences, or an interdisciplinary major prior to admission is required.
