RESERVED ADMISSIONS AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE
AND
COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE
This serves to record the understanding between Springfield College (SC) and Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM). Beginning with the 2003 entering class, AZCOM agrees to reserve three (3) admission slots in each first year of osteopathic medicine for class graduates of Springfield College who desire to study osteopathic medicine at AZCOM.
Students must fulfill the admissions requirements of AZCOM which include:
* A completed AACOMAS application
* A completed AZCOM supplementary application
* A recommendation from the Pre Professional Committee at Springfield College
* Completion of prerequisite courses
* Submission of official MCAT scores
* A personal interview
* Submission of official college transcripts
* An application fee
In addition, students must achieve a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.00 = A scale) in their undergraduate course work and obtain a composite MCAT score of 25 or higher. AZCOM’s Admission Committee shall make the final decision for entrance to AZCOM for all applicants.
Although we anticipate a long and mutually satisfying relationship between our two educational institutions, this agreement may be discounted for any reason proving that written notice is given 12 months prior to such discontinuation and that those students who have been accepted under this agreement be permitted to complete their course of study.
In agreement with all that has been outlined, on this date, February 28, 2002, both parties affix their signatures herewith:
