Information Technology (IT) Internship seeking a reliable student

to intern with our IT Manager. This unpaid internship will offer opportunities
for an intern to gain valuable real work skills by participating in the normal
maintenance of the YWCA computer network located in our office in Springfield
and branch offices in Northampton, Holyoke, and Westfield, as needed. On-going
training and supervision provided by IT Manger. Commit to working 8-10 hours a
week within a flexible 9-5pm M-F schedule for 6-12 months; and demonstrate an

Resource Development Internship seeking a mature, reliable, and creative
individual with strong written and communication skills to work with our
Director of Development and help YWCA move to the next level of visibility in
the community and achieve our social justice mission. The unpaid internship
offers a hands-on opportunity for an undergrad or graduate student to gain
valuable experience how a non-profit organization handles marketing, media
outreach, public relations, and fund raising. Demonstrate an ability to work
with our diverse membership and commit to working 8-10 hours a week within a

Supervised Visitation Program seeks volunteers and interns at YWCA
Visitation sites in Springfield and Northampton to assist Site Coordinators in
supervising visits between non-custodial parents and their child or children in
a safe and neutral setting. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work with
families through intakes, visits, and addressing co-parenting skills. Volunteers
need a basic knowledge of family dynamics. Site coordinator will provide
on-going training to volunteers.
Safe Plan Program seeks volunteers and interns to assist YWCA Safe Plan
advocates in providing crisis intervention information, referrals, legal
advocacy, and safety planning to domestic violence victims seeking protective
order through Hampshire or Hampden Probate Courts. Safe Plan volunteers needed
Monday- Friday. On going, volunteer training provided by Safe Plan Coordinator.

GRAD ASSISTANT - First Generation Program Coordinator at Bay Path College This position will be responsible for coordination of multiple events through the academic year. These events will be targeted at, but mostly exclusive to, first generation college students. CAREGIVER FOR CHILD WITH AUTISM Large family in Springfield seeks experienced, caring person who enjoys children to help work with our autistic son. Thomas is 11 years old, affectionate, and active. He enjoys looking at books, painting, jumping on the trampoline, running, and swimming. Position includes the development and integration of field-based experiential learning into students' majors as well as advising students in their placements with a focus on math, science, and the liberal arts. extends through May 2008. Compensation: This Internship is a paid position that
will provide valuable division I experience and can lead to a recommendation for
future career opportunities. The pay will be $500.00 a month plus meals, and

strength and conditioning professional. The successful candidates will be
required to schedule and maintain a minimum of 25 hours per week with the

the interns experience is directly related to the effort and commitment that is

Washington, DC. The Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation Internship
Program was established to develop the next generation of liberty-minded leaders
and entrepreneurs. Over the course of the program, Interns engage in key
Foundation projects while learning and applying Market-Based Management®. The
project assignments cover fascinating areas including policy research,
leadership and talent development, grassroots education, marketing, and network
development. This hands-on experience gives interns the chance to explore the
non-profit sector while applying the management philosophy they are learning
from the Foundation, and allows them to build a network of like-minded friends
and associates. Each Intern is assigned a Foundation mentor for the duration of

year-round recreational and respite care facility for individuals with
disabilities. Campers with mental and physical disabilities, head injuries,

LEGAL AID ASSOCIATE The Massachusetts Legal Assistance for Self-Sufficiency
Program will place 28 college graduates as AmeriCorps members in participating
legal services organizations throughout Massachusetts. Members will work under
professional supervision in providing legal assistance to low-income people in
civil (non-criminal) matters. Members will be exposed to a wide range of legal
assistance activities beginning with initial client contact and eligibility
determinations, to case development, negotiation, hearing and appeal. Civil law
areas commonly practiced in participating legal services organizations include
Housing; Domestic Relations/ Domestic Violence; Education;
Income Maintenance and Health Benefits; Legal Problems of Elders; Immigration;
