Members of the Class of 1999:
Greetings from Springfield College! We are hopeful you are growing more excited about our 10th Reunion from June 4-7, 2009. The Reunion Committee has been working to make your weekend on campus a memorable one as you relax, have fun and re-connect with your SC Family.
Alumni support and annual fund dollars keep the college strong, and help keep tuition as low as possible, ensuring that today's students can have the Springfield experience that we all did. While recognizing the state of the economy and the fact that many people have young families, loans to pay and other life expenses, you don't have to give hundreds or thousands to make a difference. If you can give $10 for our 10-year reunion, that counts, and it all adds up. So far, only 15 of our classmates have made a gift/pledge to the college this year. 15 out of 400+. We can do better than that. Please consider what you can do to be part of giving back today. Our support really does make a difference.
We’d love for the class to be together as much as possible. Rooms in Alumni Hall are only $28 for a single, and $39.50 for a double. (Remember dorm life?) But if you’d prefer more plush accommodations, there are several hotels with cheap rates too. The Holiday Inn (711 Dwight Street, 413-781-0900) is $82 a night; The Crowne Plaza in Enfield (1 Bright Meadow Blvd, 860-741-2211) is $99 a night. There are other hotels available too!
We look forward to seeing as many of you as we can. And don’t worry if you can’t come for the whole weekend. We’d love to see you for even a small part! We plan to have a great time with good food, good fun and good people.
