Welcome to Writing Support Services
As a part of the Academic Success Center, Writing Support Services offers help with writing. Our tutors are available to offer students help with all aspects of the writing process, such as getting a paper started, refining ideas, organizing a paper, employing persuasive strategies, and improving grammar and usage.
Although many students who use the Writing Support Services request help with English papers, a large number of students come to us with other writing projects, such as papers for History, Physical Education, or graduate theses. All services are free and available to any Springfield College student. We operate mainly on a drop-in basis, but we maintain an appointment book to accommodate appointments, repeat visits, and requests for particular tutors.
