Senior Room Draw Process

Senior room draw for upcoming seniors begins in November. Room draw cards are issued to all current juniors who have earned at least sixty-two credits. These cards must be returned to the Office of Housing and Residence Life by the deadline printed on the card in order for you to be issued a room draw number. Numbers are posted online after the deadline date for returning the cards. There will also be a senior room draw packet and timeline available online. Please read these documents thoroughly, as they have pertinent information that you need with regards to the senior room draw process.

Once you are issued a number, you will have to identify where you would like to live as well as your preferred roommates. During senior room draw, you can only select housing in the Senior Suites, Townhouses, or Living Center. In addition, all of your roommates must be upcoming seniors. If you want to live in any other residence hall, or with students who will not be seniors in the fall, you must wait and go through the regular room draw process in the spring. Once you have identified a residence hall for your senior year and your roommates, you will need to turn in a completed roster, along with housing agreements for everyone on the roster, by the deadline indicated on the timeline. You will then choose your suite/house/apartment at the designated place and time listed on the timeline.

Please choose your roommates wisely, as no changes are allowed until after the first two weeks of the fall semester. Only the team captain is required to be present at the time of the selection.
