International Hall
About International Hall
International Hall, better known to students as “Inty,” is the tallest building on campus, with nine residential floors. Built in 1964, International Hall began as an all-male residence hall. Today, International Hall is a co-ed residence hall housing 288 students in double and single rooms. Students on upper floors enjoy dramatic views of the Pioneer Valley and Lake Massasoit. Each floor has a lounge with Internet connections and is furnished with sofas. Residents of International Hall can socialize in two main lounges located on the garden level and on the eighth floor. Each of the main lounges has large screen TVs and full kitchens. The garden- level lounge is equipped with a pool table, a ping pong table, and an air hockey table. One of the main perks for residents who reside in the hall is that it is open for all breaks and vacations. International Hall has a parking lot that is convenient for those students who are able to have cars on campus. In warmer weather, students can walk out to the Reed Green, located just outside the building, and throw a Frisbee or lay out in the sun.
There are many exciting events which take place in International Hall, including:
- Midnight Breakfast – A time where the hall staff cooks breakfast for students to help alleviate some of the stress that may be caused from upcoming final exams.
- Spring Cook-Out – Held every year in the front of Inty in an effort to get students excited for the arrival of spring and the end of the academic year.
