Class of 2008 survey

Annually the Career Center and Alumni Records survey the most recent graduating class to discover and document their post graduation accomplishments. The graduates are surveyed at Commencement and are mailed a more detailed survey in January. The graduates have two options: either to return the mailed survey or respond online. Additionally, telephone follow-up is conducted to help ensure a more comprehensive profile of the graduating class.

All members, 1,567 graduates, of the Class of 2008 were surveyed. The group included undergraduate, graduate, CAS, and doctoral degree recipients from the main campus and nine regional locations.

29% earned a Master/CAS/DPE
25% earned a BSHS
15% earned a MSHS

Of the 842 respondents:

77% work full time
17% pursued higher education degrees
4% work part time
2% were uncommitted

Of those working full-time

44% work in service settings
23% work in educational settings
16% work in business settings
15% work in allied health settings

64% reported full-time employment
29% enrolled in higher degree program
5% reported part-time employment
2% were uncommitted
