The Springfield College Career Center is committed to providing its students and alumni with fair and equitable access to experiential education experiences and professional employment opportunities. To ensure that students’ and alumni rights are upheld and that they have the opportunity to make well informed decisions, the Career Center has developed the following employer policies regarding on-campus recruiting, the scheduling of Information Tables and Information Sessions, the listing of internship and job opportunities in our on-line resources, and participation in college sponsored job/career fairs.The Career Center adheres to the National Association for Colleges & Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Conduct and expects that employers will honor the code as well. ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING and INFORMATION SESSIONS/TABLES
Organizations who are ineligible to participate in on campus recruiting or host Information Sessions or Information Tables include those organizations whose compensation is 100% commission, and those who require the candidate to pay a fee for training, equipment, application procedures or other job related expenses (this does not apply to federal and state licensing requirements such as real estate, securities, etc). Organizations that are based on a networking marketing paradigm will also be ineligible to participate in recruitment programs.
