Class of '73
April 2008Dear Members of the class of 1973,
By now you should have received the official registration brochure from the Alumni Office.
Now is the time to make plans to be in Springfield for our 35th reunion weekend from June 12th. If you can’t’ make it for the whole weekend come for part of it.
Some of the highlights will be:
A ceremony honoring members of our Armed Forces (past and present).
Bill Jinks ’73 will be actively involved in this event, along with his nephew Robert (class of 2005).
Our class picture on Saturday afternoon.
For our class picture, please wear your straw hat from the last reunion and don’t forget your Hawaiian shirt. If you don’t have the hat, we’ll take care of you. After the class picture and parade of classes, there will be a luau-themed lunch.
Our class dinner on Saturday night.
Our class dinner will be held inside the Pueblo; Beth Vitalini-Jones is putting together a Power Point presentation and needs scanned pictures of our years together at Springfield. Please e-mail pictures to her at: bethviones@hotmail.com. If you can’t e-mail your pictures, please send copies (not originals) to her home address: P.O. Box 203 Merricam, MA 01860-0203. She needs the pictures by May 30th.
1. Please make your reservations in advance (this makes planning the program that much easier and will save you a $14.00 late fee for Saturday dinner. 2. Bring your tickets with you to the dinner, and 3. Plan to bring a camp chair or blanket for the campfire. If you cannot attend, send a note to the class via crsafs@aol.com which will be read at our dinner. 4. If you haven’t already, make your overnight accommodations - a list of hotels where SC blocks of rooms is attached. Several classmates are staying in Alumni Hall. Alumni Hall rooms may be registered for via the reunion brochure.
