Full Circle

Full Circle

What is Full Circle?

Full Circle is an on-line tool used to promote communication between students, their tutors, their professors, and the staff of the ASC. The most visible aspect of Full Circle will be its Tutorial Reports. At the end of each tutoring session, an ASC tutor will fill out a report using Full Circle. The report will be emailed to the student and the professor of the course that the tutorial was for. Students can use the reports to keep track of their progress, set goals for their future tutorial sessions and for a variety of other purposes. Professors could use the reports to offer their students feedback, encouragement or whatever support they see as most fitting.

Additionally, after each session, Full Circle will provide the students a chance to fill out a quick survey of their tutors’ performances. The information that Full Circle will collect about tutorial sessions and surveys will provide the Academic Success Center data to continue to improve the services we offer to Springfield College students.

Timeframe

Full Circle is being piloted by a handful of ASC tutors during the end of the Spring 2008 semester. They will be providing feedback for future improvements. Full Circle will fully operational starting in Fall 2008.
