Major/Minor: Physical Therapy with a minor in Nutrition

Activities/Interests: Springfield College women’s track and field. When she’s not doing that, she loves to read almost any book, and watch Grey’s Anatomy.
Favorite Book: Some of her favorites include, Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code, by Dan Brown and all of the Harry Potter books.
Favorite Quote: “I believe if you seek the truth you don’t need to look far because it’s going to find you.”
Most memorable experience at Springfield College so far: “Any one of my track meets, and being a part of the gymnastics Homeshow last year as a freshman.”





Andy Ho Full Name: Andy (AKA Li-An) Ho

Major/Minor: Sport and Exercise Psychology
Hometown: Taiwan
Activities/Interests Andy is a doctoral student in sports psychology and a full-time teaching fellow in the mathematics, physics and computer science department. This is his second year working for the ASC. He has his undergraduate degree in political science from National Taiwan University in Taiwan, a master’s degree in sport coaching science from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan, and a second master’s degree in strength and conditioning from Springfield College.

Kristy Full Name: Danielle Montambault

Class: Junior
Major/Minor: Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education and a Spanish minor
Hometown: Prospect, Conn.
Activities and Interests: Danielle is currently studying to become a middle school or high school mathematics teacher. She is involved with Student Ambassadors and loves giving weekly tours to potential students and their families. She is also a member of SC Dancers and is currently the treasurer of Lakeside Hall Council. This is her third year working for Math Support Services. She studied abroad in Spain during the spring of 2008. She loves meeting new people and having fun! Personal note from Danielle: “Come stop by and say hi!”





Alphonse Full Name: Professor Alphonse Yapo
Support Area: Math Support Services: Survey of Math, Algebra
Role: Faculty Math Specialist
Hometown: Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
Activities/Interests Professor Yapo teaches college algebra at Springfield College. He started teaching in high school in Cote d’Ivoire. Then, he obtained a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in pure mathematics from the University of Provence (Marseille). He’s teaching developmental courses in math at local colleges. He’s also attending Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) in the master’s program: applied math, actuarial science option. He likes the internet, music and soccer.
