Game Day Security
While security in stadiums and arenas has always been a top priority for event and facility managers, the horrific events of September 11, 2001 thrust this issue to the top of every athletic agenda.

Dr. Matthew Pantera, Chair of the Sport Management & Recreation Department, assembled a team to research this important issue. The research team's hard work and diligence culminated on February 27th when USA TODAY published the Game Day Security Operations Checklist as part of a cover story on sports and terrorism in both their print and online publications.
