Where competence and compassion combineSpringfield College is truly known and respected world-wide for commitment to educating the whole person. Students leave Springfield College knowing how to perform with integrity, compassion, and competence in the workplace, largely due to the amazing faculty.
Professors in the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Sciences have impressive personal backgrounds, with research and practical expertise in computational physics, programming languages, software applications and development, mathematics education, systems analysis, database management systems, biophysics and applied technology, computational biology and bioinformatics, and game programming.
All of the professors pride themselves on positive, active support for each individual student. They are people who live the Humanics philosophy and stand ready to help students, in the classroom and out, during your time on campus, and long after you leave, because... We never really say goodbye.
When they have completed their degrees, students will be delighted to know they’ve become part of a web of decent, competent human beings that spans the nation and even the world. As graduates of Springfield College, students can rely on this far-reaching and readily accessible network of faculty and fellow alumni, strategically connected to all aspects of mathematics, computer science, and computer technology to provide advice, support, and friendship anywhere they choose to go.
