Graduate Athletic Training Program at Springfield College

The graduate Athletic Training Program is designed for National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) or certification eligible athletic trainers and other athletic health care professionals. The program allows students to focus on one of three concentrations:
  1. Athletic Training Administration
  2. Athletic Training Professional Preparation
  3. Athletic Training Rehabilitation.
Exercise Science and Sports Studies The 36 semester hour program will provide students with a strong theoretical and research basis in their concentration. All students are required to complete fieldwork experience specific to their concentration and professional goals. In addition, the program requires completion of a research requirement (thesis or independent study).

NOTE: The program is not a BOC certification preparation program.

The Athletic Training/Exercise Science Complex
Renovations are underway for a two-story 17,800 square foot Complex that will provide students and faculty with interactive and experiential learning environments as well as dedicated research space for the study of all aspects of wellness and human performance. The new athletic training room will provide student-athletes access to athletic health care at the highest level.
