Athletic Counseling
The Master of Science program housed in the psychology department at Springfield College combines training in both research and applied areas of sport counseling. The goal of the Athletic Counseling Program is to provide graduate students with preparation in counseling, psychology, and the sport sciences that will enable them to provide support services to athletes in a variety of settings. This program prepares students both for professional work with athletes at various levels of sport participation and for doctoral programs in counseling or sport psychology.Dr. Judy VanRaalte
