Men's Tennis Falls To MIT, 7-0
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., April 5, 2005 - MIT junior Evan Tindell (Boca Raton, Fla.) and sophomore Thomas Dohlman (Wellesley, Mass.) both won their singles and doubles matches to defeat Springfield College, 7-0, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's tennis match this afternoon at Appleton Courts.
Tindell won his #1 singles match by a score of 6-1, 6-1, and Weiss won at #2 singles, 7-5, 6-3. The two paired up in #1 doubles to win 8-3.
SC falls to 1-2 (0-1 NEWMAC) while the Engineers improve to 3-3 (1-0 NEWMAC). SC is back in action when it hosts Green Mountain College on Wednesday, April 6, with a starting time of 3:30

Tim Losee ’05, G’07 was named the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College in August of 2009. A former four-year member of Springfield’s men’s tennis team, Losee returns to his alma mater to pilot both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
