Trio Named To ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team

Springfield, Mass. - May 9, 2008 - Two student athletes from the baseball team along with one from the softball team were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors Association of America (CoSIDA).
Justin Nussey and Jimmy Lisowski were named to the 2008 Academic All-America District I Second Team in the college division after having outstanding years in the classrooms.
Nussey, who hails from Westminster, Mass., earned a 3.95 grade point average, while majoring in business. Lisowski, a Warwick, Mass. native and NEWMAC First Team selection as the Pride's ace this season, owns a 3.98 GPA while majoring in athletic training.
A standout on the softball diamond, Bryn Worrilow was named to the 2008 Academic All-America District I Third Team in the college division. A North Babylon, N.Y. product, Worrilow earned a 3.61 GPA as a physical education major.
