Golf Places 23rd at Middlebury
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., September 15, 2002- Springfield College’s Tyson Briggs finished in a tie for 76th place with a two-round team best score of 166 at the Duke Nelson Golf Tournament at Middlebury College.The Pride finished 23rd overall with a score of 700. Sophomore Mike Regan and junior Peter Pacheco both shot a 176 to finish in a tie for 107th place.
The Pride will compete in the Williams College Invitational on Sat./Sun., September 22 and 23 in Williamstown, Mass.

The reigning NECC Golf Coach of the Year, Joe Eadie enters his 16th season as the head men's golf coach at Springfield College in the fall of 2009. Eadie is the head golf professional at the Fenway Golf Range in nearby East Longmeadow, and is in the process of becoming a PGA Professional. Read more.
