Men's Gymnastics Places Third At Navy
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - February, 26 2005 - Senior Nelson Jimenez (Salem, N.H.) vaulted to a team-high 8.95, as Springfield College placed third in a triangular meet at Navy last Saturday (Feb. 26).
Navy won the meet with an overall score of 206.95, followed by Illinois University of Chicago, 205.8, and than Springfield, 195.85.
Sophomore Scott Goff (Syracuse, N.Y.) was right behind Jimenez with an 8.9 score on the vault.
Junior Shawn Fournier (Lewiston, Me.) chipped in an 8.6 performance on the still rings for the Pride as well.
Springfield hosts Army this Sunday (March 6) in Blake Arena.
