MIT Defeats Women's Tennis 9-0
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., September 20, 2003- MIT College senior Shima Rayej (Washington, D.C.) won at #1 singles and doubles as MIT defeated Springfield College, 9-0, in a NEWMAC tennis match on Friday.
MIT improves to 3-2 overall and 3-2 in the NEWMAC. The Pride drops to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

Tim Losee ’05, G’07 was named the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College in August of 2009. A former four-year member of Springfield’s men’s tennis team, Losee returns to his alma mater to pilot both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
