Women's Gymnastics Falls To Brockport, 181.025-176.850
Brockport, N.Y., Feb. 9, 2003 - Springfield College junior Jenny Romano-Joseph (Shutesbury, Mass.) placed third in the all-around (35.625) but the Pride fell to host Brockport, 181.025-176.850.
Romano-Joseph also placed first on the vault (9.30) and third on the floor exercise (9.425). Sophomore Amanda Roth (Bloomfield, N.Y.) and freshman Laura Nadramia (St. James, N.Y.) tied for second place on the balance beam with a score of 9.550.
SC senior Jenny Prothers (Amherst, Mass.) took third place on the bars with a score of 8.650.
The Pride (0-6) hosts West Chester on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1:00 p.m.
