Clapp Runs To Fifth Win In A Row At Bantam Invitational
HARTFORD, Conn., Oct. 4, 2003 - Springfield College senior All-American Marisa Clapp (Charlton, Mass.) won her fifth-straight meet to lead the Pride to a second-place finish at the Bantam Women's Cross Country Invitational hosted by Trinity College at Wickham Park.
Clapp covered the 3,000-meter course in 14:49. The Pride finished second with 48 points behind host Trinity, which scored 21 points.
SC sophomore Meg Young (Hurley, N.Y.) finished sixth in a time of 16:02.
