Babson College Beats Women's Tennis, 9-0

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., September 6, 2003- Babson College senior Shannon McCarthy (Scituate, Mass.) took first place in number-one singles play as the Beavers defeated Springfield College, 9-0, on Saturday.

McCarthy teamed up with junior Samantha Wong (Belmont, Mass.), to win their number-two doubles match, 8-2.

Babson improves its record to 1-0, while the Pride falls to 0-2 on the season.
