Boxscore

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 17, 2005-- Springfield College senior goalkeeper David Minkoff (Oceanside, N.J.) recorded five saves, but it was not enough as the Pride fell to Wheaton College, 3-0, in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play tonight (Sept. 17) at Springfield College.

Wheaton (3-2, 1-0) tallied two goals in the first half at 20:09 and 34:02 despite tough defense from the Pride (0-5, 0-1). In the second half, Wheaton added a late goal, in the 77th minute of action for the 3-0 victory. Both teams were very aggressive to the ball and despite several chances for the Pride, it could not capitalize.
