Women's Tennis Defeats Colby-Sawyer, 8-1
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., September 25, 2003- Springfield College senior Melissa Boyington (Vernon, Conn.) won at #1 doubles and #2 singles as the Pride defeated Colby-Sawyer, 8-1, in a non-league match at Appleton Courts Thursday.
SC freshman Suzanne Caiati (New Canaan, Conn.) won at #1 singles and #2 doubles, as well as junior Aimee Dalenta (Tolland, Conn.) winning at #1 doubles and #5 singles.
The Pride improves to 3-5 overall. Colby-Sawyer drops to 3-2 on the season.

Tim Losee ’05, G’07 was named the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College in August of 2009. A former four-year member of Springfield’s men’s tennis team, Losee returns to his alma mater to pilot both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
