Beebe Named Pilgrim League Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- April 21, 2008 - Junior Jake Beebe has been honored as the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week after he led the Pride to a key 2-0 week as Springfield took control of the league standings.

In two games, Beebe tallied 12 points off four goals and eight assists to lead the Springfield offensive attack. Beebe opened the week with a two-goal, three-assist performance, all in the first half, in the Pride's 15-5 win over Lasell on Wednesday.

On Saturday, as Springfield topped Babson, 11-5, Beebe tallied a game-high seven points off two goals and five assists. Beebe leads the team with 46 points off 21 goals and 25 assists.
