

Southern scored 185.850 points to win it. The Owls were followed by Yale with 185.225 points, then SUNY Brockport (182.875), Springfield (182.400), Bridgeport (181.750), and Ithaca (178.775).
Pysh, a senior from Plainville, Conn., won the All-Around with a score of 37.900. Her winning score of 9.825 in the floor exercise was the best individual score in any event throughout the day. She also finished tied for second in the balance beam (9.600), tied for seventh in the vault (9.350), and 10th in the uneven parallel bars (9.125).
Other winners included: sophomore Sarah Darst (Tampa, Fla.) of SCSU in the uneven parallel bars (9.600), sophomore Lauren Gildemeyer (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) of Brockport in the vault (9.650), and sophomore Allison Mak (Richmond Hill, Ontario) of Yale in the balance beam (9.650).
For the Owls, key to the team victory were 1-2 finishes in both the floor exercise and in the uneven parallel bars. In the floor exercise, it was Pysh and sophomore Briana DiPinto (Woburn, Mass.) (9.800). In the bars, it was Darst and freshman Justine Basley (Danielson, Conn.) (9.550).
For the home team, the Springfield College Pride, the only one to compete in all four events was sophomore Alex Ploenes (Medina, Ohio), who finished seventh with a score of 36.375. Sophomore Audrey Lastra (New Milford, Conn.) placed fifth in the floor exercise (9.725), and sixth in the bars (9.275). In the vault, sophomore Ericca Castagna (Topsfield, Mass.) placed second (9.500), and junior Jacqui Mazzola (Framingham, Mass.) finished third (9.475).
