Men's Gymnastics Finishes Sixth At West Point Invitational

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Springfield College senior
Tim Goetz (South Plainfield, N.J.) finished eighth in the all-around competition with 50.45 points to lead the Pride to sixth place out of 10 teams at the West Point Invitational, Saturday.
The Pride competed with five Division I schools at the event, including several national powers. Penn State won the meet with 214.625 points followed by Nebraska (210.900) in second, Army (208.700) in third, Temple (206.150) in fourth Navy (200.350) in fifth, Springfield (198.700) in sixth, Houston N./Surgents Club (198.550) in seventh, James Madison (188.000) in eighth, So. Connecticut (187.400) in ninth and MIT (142.900) in 10th.
SC freshman
Scott Goff (Syracuse, N.Y.) turned in a ninth-place performance in floor exercise with a score of 8.75.
