

A native of Baldwin, N.Y., Ilkson had an outstanding week as she recorded a team-high 48 kills (3.69 per game) and hit .210. She also registered a team-best 66 digs (5.08 per game) to go along with seven aces and seven block assists. In four matches over the week, the Pride managed to lose just one game.
On Tuesday evening, Ilkson hammered out 15 kills to go along with a match-high 27 digs in the conference victory over the Coast Guard Bears. Over the weekend at the Tom Hay Invitational, Ilkson was tabbed Tournament MVP after she paced the Pride to the Tournament crown. In the Pride's 3-0 sweep of Randolph, Ilkson chipped in with 12 digs, nine kills, and three aces for the Pride. On Saturday afternoon, Ilkson hit .455 en route to 13 kills and 14 digs against Western Connecticut as the Pride cruised in three games. Versus Plymouth State, Ilkson registered 11 kills at a .435 clip and added 13 digs in the win.
For the season, Ilkson leads the team with 251 kills and 381 digs.
Ilkson and the Pride return to action when they travel to take on Babson on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Joel Dearing will enter his 20th season as head women's volleyball coach at his alma mater in the fall of 2008. Dearing is regarded nationally as one of the sport’s best coaches and he has the resume to prove it. Dearing ranks in the top-10 in Division III history with a 638-293 (.685) overall mark in 27 seasons as a women’s volleyball coach.
