No. 13 Wrestling Pins Williams, 36-12
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., January 28, 2004 – Springfield College freshman Mark DeCiccio (Cranston, R.I.) pinned Williams College freshman Tim Madden to win at 141 pounds and lead the No. 13 Pride past the Ephs, 36-12, Wednesday night in Blake Arena
DeCiccio improved his record to 19-9 this winter as the Pride moves to 14-4 in dual competition.
SC junior Jerard Melito (Medford, N.Y.) won his 157-pound match as he pinned his opponent in the fifth minute of action.
Other winners for the Pride included sophomore Bill Koch (Hackettstown, N.J.) who won his 165-pound match, and sophomore Andre Lee (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) as he earned a victory in his 174-pound bout.
The Pride returns to action Sunday, February 1, hosting AIC and No. 5 College of New Jersey.
