

In the first session on April 17, Matt Tocchio finished tied for 31st in the pommel horse (12.350), while Andy Kelly finished 40th in the parallel bars (12.450).
In the second session that same day, Josh Fox finished tied for 25th in the floor exercise (14.400), and JJ Ferreira placed 39th in the same event (13.250). Keith Stumpf then placed 39th in the vault (14.300). Fox was scheduled also to compete in the high bar, but did not. None of the individuals advanced to the next round of competition.
In the team event, the top six seeds all moved on to compete in the finals. Those top six seeds, in order, were Stanford, Oklahoma, Penn State, California, Illinois, and Michigan.
Springfield men's gymnastics thus ends its 2008 campaign.
