Wheaton College Defeats Women's Tennis, 8-1

NORTHAMPTON,, Mass. Oct. 11, 2002 – Jacklyn Eiges (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Aimee Dalenta (Tolland Conn.) posted an 8-6 win in No. 2 doubles action but Wheaton College defeated SC, 8-1, in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women’s tennis action at Smith College.

The loss snaps a five-match winning streak for the Pride. SC drops to 5-6 (2-6, NEWMAC) on the season while Wheaton improves to 6-5 (3-5, NEWMAC).
