Men's Soccer Extends Unbeaten Streak To Four

Brandon Szczesniak (Houston, Texas) scored his first goal of the season in the 85th minute as the Pride settled for a 1-1 tie with Western Connecticut in a non-conference men's soccer match at the Westside Athletic Complex on Monday night.
The Pride (6-6-1) nearly extended its winning streak to four matches but Colonials' freshman forward Bill Goncalves scored with 10 seconds remaining in regulation. SC, which is unbeaten in its last four, is on its best run since 2001 when it won five-consecutive matches from Oct. 6-23.
Szczesniak gave the Pride a 1-0 advantage when he drilled a blast from 40 yards out past keeper John DeSarro.
SC junior keeper
David Minkoff (Oceanside, N.Y.) made seven saves, and DeSarro had five saves in goal for the Colonials (3-6-1).
