

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – July 31, 2007 – Julia Kincade and Rachel Lampros of Springfield College have been named to the 2007 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association Academic Honor Roll.
Kincade and Lampros were integral members of the Pride this past spring, helping their squad to a 10-8 overall record. They each had GPA’s over 3.50.They also helped Springfield College earn IWLCA Academic All-Merit Honors as a team.
Lampros, a senior attacker from Boxborough, Mass., was the team’s second-leading scorer in both goals (29) and points (40). Her 42 shots on goal were also second-high on the squad. A graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School, she majored in Physical Therapy.
Kincade, a junior defender from Durham, N.H., scored two goals for Springfield College this past season. She played in all 18 games the team played. A graduate of Oyster River High School, she majored in Sport Management at Springfield.
The Pride finished in a tie for third in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference regular season with a 3-3 mark in 2007, and ultimately lost in the semifinals of the conference tournament to eventual champion Babson.
Kristen Mullady ‘00, has been named an assistant professor of physical education and head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield College. A former standout for Springfield’s women’s lacrosse team, Mullady returns to her alma mater to head up a program that went 12-6 and reached the conference tournament championship game a year ago.
